Riley Robb, designer of Belah cards, has made it her mission to bring a smile to everyone's face. These are difficult times, and with the overwhelming pile up of bills in the mail, sometimes it is a gift to get a hand written letter in the mail. Connection was her design inspiration, and being currently unemployed herself, she wanted to figure out a business that would bless others, help her pay the bills, and give back.
"I would love to take this opportunity to give back to my own community and the organizations working through the COVID Pandemic to deliver food and shelter to those in need in San Luis Obispo County. The SLO Food Bank delivers meals and medications to over 900 households for seniors (65+) with chronic medical conditions or that are self isolating during this time. They also provide neighborhood food distribution to those who may be struggling to feed their families right now due to a loss of income. I have volunteered with this organization and the relief that they bring to the community is really something miraculous to behold. The CAPSLO (Community Action Partnership of San Luis Obispo) is dedicated to providing low cost health care centers, homeless shelters, and veteran and senior programs. I'd love to give back to the community that I cherish through my love and passion for art. I grew up here and I have witnessed first-hand how these programs have changed peoples lives. I hope we can collectively bless them through this hard time when more people than ever are in need. "
